W + R - CLASSIC OAKS

This was one for the books. I can confidently say that everyone at this reception (including the band) will remember this night 50 years from now. Three songs in it was clear that we were in for an incredible night (that first photo of Damon playing a sax solo is about how the night started off). And as HIGH energy as the night started off, it was a constant ascent of energy throughout the night culminating with playing our “Eras Tour” Taylor Swift mashup to where Danny literally fell over because he couldn’t handle the amount of joy in the room. Other highlights included:

Bride surprising her parents with the band playing “their song” for the wedding they never really got to have.

Bride’s parents surprising the bride with a custom-written song about her.

The guests of the wedding being a lot of musicians and just eating up everything the band was doing musically. One guest told Danny afterwards, “I play trumpet and I DJ and after seeing you all, I don’t ever want to DJ again because I didn’t know this was possible.”

The night was soooo epic and a huge storm moved in to the area at the end of the night. All of the power went out during private last dance (we mean ALL the power) so Danny stepped off stage and played acoustically to the couple and the power kicked back on (last photo).

And finally, this quote from the videographer on Instagram. “These guests mixed with the performance by Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band completely shattered my standard of a wedding reception. My eyes are open. They redefine what a wedding band can be, setting the gold standard with their exceptional talent and presence. They were the true MVPs of the night. What a day — Couldn’t have imagined a better day for Whitney and Reese!”
