Gala - Paper Ball
As local Houstonians, we are super-grateful to be residents of a city with such renowned museums. The Menil Collection takes it one step further by always offering free admission. So we were honored to have been a part of their Paper Ball. This charity gala benefitting the Menil Collection raised $405,000 for the Menil Collection. Guests entered Richmond Hall to our Sinatra/swing cocktail set, enjoyed a seated dinner from City Kitchen Catering, and then after dinner and a welcome speech by the Menil president, fired off confetti flickers as we tore into what would be a 2-hour dance set (heavy on Motown and soul songs).
We were told, “it probably won’t be a dancing crowd.” Not if we have anything to say about it.
